Sitting Pretty
I have always had a soft spot for possums having reared a little orphan ringtail baby my daughters found in our garden and named Hush. After trying to find a carer to look after him of which we couldn’t at the time his vulnerable little life was literally in our hands. What a wonderful journey we had with him. He didn't want to leave home after he grew but eventually found his place in our garden where he could still see us. I used to take him to work in a basket and feed him rose petals when he was a baby.
Possums can live up to 11 years and there are 23 different species in Australia. They are found along the eastern part of Australia and south west Western Australia.
