Breakfast Buddy - Bruce
This beautiful boy visited us everyday on a holiday in Halls Gap, Victoria. There were kangaroos everywhere lazing in the sun along with the tourists. This particular boy was so curious and trusting and had no issue coming very close which enabled me to take great photos. He was amazing.
He was proudly overseeing the bar in our historical and much loved Kangaroo Hotel in Maldon (the only Kangaroo Hotel in Australia I believe), they had a competition to name him and he is known as Bruce. The hotel now has new owners and Bruce has moved on with the previous owner.
Kangaroos generally live in small groups called ‘mobs’ with around 10 females, their joeys and one or two males. A1 prints are available on request.
